Adsorption Studies of Arsenic(V) by CuO Nanoparticles Synthesized by Phyllanthus emblica Leaf-Extract-Fueled Solution Combustion Synthesis

In the present study, a simple and eco-friendly route for synthesis of copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO NPs) using leaf extract Phyllanthus emblica as fuel has been demonstrated, P. is locally available abundant plant. The formation as-prepared CuO NPs was confirmed by various techniques, such UV–Vis absorption spectroscopy, cold field scanning electron microscopy (CF–SEM), energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), dynamic light scattering (DLS), photoelectron (XPS). hydrodynamic size found to be 80 nm, while zeta potential ?28.6 mV obtained. elemental composition EDX accompanied with mapping, crystalline nature substantiated XRD diffractogram. as-synthesized were studied their use an adsorbent material removal As(V) from water. It that effectively removed via adsorption, adsorption efficiency best at higher pH. maximum capacity 1.17 mg/g calculated Langmuir equation.
